Zsófia (or Zsófi) Tálas is an EMMY and BAFTA nominated Hungarian editor based in London. 

Zsófi has edited numerous music videos, short films, feature films and tv series, including Sky originals Brassic and The Midwich Cuckoos, BBC’s Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. Her latest work is season 3 of hit Apple Tv+ show, Slow Horses, for which she received EMMY and BAFTA nominations.

She has won a Royal Television Society Award for her work on the BAFTA winning short animation film, Poles Apart, and won best editing at the Hungarian Film Week and at the Hungarian Critics Award in 2019 for her work on Hungarian comedy drama, Bad Poems.

She is an editing graduate of England's National Film and Television School and the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest. Zsófi also has a degree in film history from Eötvös Loránd University.

Zsófi was selected for the Berlinale Talents in 2018 and she is also part of BAFTA Crew/Connect 2018-2024.
She is a member of the Television Academy, BFE (British Film Editors), EFA (European Film Academy), MFA (Hungarian Film Academy) and HSE (Hungarian Society of Editors).
